WORKSHOP INFORMATION
- Time: 09:00, 27.03.2022
- Location: 21 Pham Ngoc Thach, D3, HCMC
Is it necessary to teach children dual languages? At what age should children be exposed to a new language? Would children get confused or have language disorders if they learn two languages at the same time? These are probably just a few of many concerns that parents may have when planning their child’s language acquisition. Aiming to help parents resolve these concerns and develop an effective, long-term plan for children’s language learning, Little Em’s is hosting the Workshop: “Dual language learners – Common misconceptions and scientifically-proven methods” focusing on:
- What is the golden age for children to start learning foreign languages?
- How might bilingualism positively affect the brain and cognitive development?
- The importance of building a strong foundation of mother tongue
- Effective methods to raise proficient bilingual children, especially in the early years
Little Em’s is honoured to welcome Dr Alan Phan – General Principal of North London College School HCMC – to this workshop. Dr Alan Phan will provide insights into how we can best support our children in learning languages.
