WORKSHOP INFORMATION:
Because of the changes in our society, this year is not as bustling as the previous years since children are interacting remotely through the screens instead of gathering at school with their teachers and friends. Parents must have had many concerns, such as: Can children pay attention during virtual sessions? Does the regular use of technological devices affect your children’s health? How can the school and parents work together to interact with children during home-schooling? Not only supporting families in terms of mental health but Little Em’s also care about children’s physical health, specifically how to ensure that children have a nutritious diet in the present situation.
Therefore, we warmly welcome parents to our Online Parenting Workshop, designed for parents with children under six years old, to discuss the following topics:
1. Mental health
Experts: Ms Hai Ha and Mr Hoang Lam, from Little Em’s academic team, were officially trained in the Reggio Emilia Approach® by Reggio Children (Italy). With many years of experience in teaching and taking care of children, the teachers will partly help parents overcome the psychological challenges of family life.
2. Physical health
Expert: Dr Le Thi Kim Dung, currently working as the Pediatrics Specialist of CarePlus Clinics. With more than 13 years of experience and an international training certificate in nutrition in Israel, Dr Dung will share helpful information to parents.

Dr Le Thi Kim Dung, currently working as the Pediatrics Specialist of CarePlus Clinics. With more than 13 years of working experience at Nhi Dong 1 Hospital and University Medical Center and an international training certificate in nutrition in Israel, Dr Dung will share helpful information to parents
Ms. Ha has 5 years of experience as a kindergarten teacher focusing on the Reggio Emilia Approach®️, and is a behavioral facilitator for children from pre-school to adolescence with special rights.
Ms. Ha has Teaching English Test Certificate of Cambridge English, the DIR-Floortime 101 Certificate, and Certificate of Completing the training course in Art Therapy for students/children with ASD from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, HCMC. Also a life-long learner, she is studying Psychology at Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Mr. Lam graduated Early childhood education at Lane Community College – Eugene, OR, United States. He also earned certificate in Guidance & Curriculum and Infants & Toddlers. During the time in the States, he had a chance to work at LCFC, Lane Child and Family Center – a 5-star quality childcare based on USA Qualified Childcare Standard, as a teacher assistant and co-lead teacher.
His learning mainly focused on Reggio Emilia Approach, Montessori, and Magda Gerber philosophy on taking care and guiding children. The purpose is to choose appropriate guidance methods to enhance children self-worth, self-esteem, problem solving skill, and abilities for day-to-day life.
