He has a diverse background in education, having worked internationally in the UK, China and Peru. This has exposed him to a wide variety of educational philosophies and approaches. Mrs. Nguyen Thi Van Anh has 34 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She was the principal of many pre-schools in District 3, including national standard ones. Besides her professional knowledge in the field, Mrs. Van Anh also has strong understanding regarding the approach to children of special rights. With the hope of improving early childhood education development in Vietnam through applying the Reggio Emilia Approach®, she is passionate in developing the future Ambassadors for our country, and we are proud to introduce Mrs. Van-Anh as the Principal of Little Em’s Pre-school.
Ms. Doan was born and raised in Saigon, and majored in Early Childhood Education at Stavanger University, Norway. She also attended a semester at the Schwäbisch Gmünd Pedagogical University, Germany, achieving full scholarship. During her studies and after graduation, she worked as a trainee and later as a lead teacher at various kindergartens in Norway.
Ms. Đoan is one of the first teachers in Vietnam to be officially trained in the Reggio Emilia Approach® by the Reggio Children organization in Italy. In addition, she has also completed Leading the Learning – PYP (Cat.1) and Making PYP Happen in the Early Years (Cat.1) organized by the International Baccalaureate Organization. She has also received training in Creativity Development in Children Aged 1-8 Through Art, organized by the Vietnam International Reggio Emilia Society (VIRES).
She is also multi-talented as a yoga instructor, singer, song-writer, voice-artist, writer, and an International Kindermusik Educator certified by International Kindermusik. Ms. Doan is also a former Vocal instructor and Musicianship for Young children at the Soul Music & Performing Arts Academy. She is currently a freelance Lyricist, as well.
She brings her multi-disciplinary approach seamlessly into the Little Em’s classroom.
Mr. Trevor Mulhare completed a Joint Honors Degree in Drama and English at University College Dublin from 2009 to 2012. He also achieved an ‘Approved Plus’ Certificate in English Language Teaching from the Centre of English Studies in 2012.
With a deep passion for Drama, he has dedicated much time and enthusiasm to pursuing this field. Mr. Trevor also holds the position of Center Head of Teaching at Wall Street English. He is very excited to have the opportunity to teach English and Drama to young children at Little Em’s.
Born in Italy, but now a resident in Ho Chi Minh City since 2015 with her family, Dr. Simona Bossoni is an expert, trainer and therapist in Special Education. From 2000 to 2010 she worked at the Center for Diagnostics, Treatment and Research on Autism of Verona’s hospital, one of the most important centers in Italy. From 2010 to 2015 she was the Director of her own Medical and Psychological Center dedicated to diagnostics and treatment for special rights children and adults.
She is now the Head of the Child Development Department of a new hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, lecturer at the National College of Education Ho Chi Minh City and consultant for many special schools and kindergartens. With the hope of contributing deeply to the development of special rights education for children in Vietnam, Dr. Simona Bossoni has joined Little Em’s Preschool as the Director of Special Rights Program.
