Our Campus

Our Campus

At Little Em’s, our campus is a unique educational environment, where every space is thoughtfully designed to inspire wonder, exploration, and discovery. Learning spaces grow with the child, crafted to stimulate curiosity and support development at each age. From sound exploration rooms to light-filled studios, these spaces become companions on a child’s learning journey, reflecting our belief that the environment is the “third teacher” in the Reggio Emilia® Approach.

18 – 36 Month Old Class: The Echo Chamber

Inspired by the stunning natural wonders formed over thousands of years, children are invited to explore and investigate in their own Discovery Cave. Here, it becomes a central space for conversations and countless curious questions about natural phenomena in the world around them.

3 – 4 Year Old Class: The Cave Space
This is where young children explore the science of sound. The highlight of the room is a sound dome designed for gathering together, storytelling, and questioning, connecting the physical space with sound waves and sparking endless curiosity about the world, life, and people.

4 – 5 Year Old Class: The Kaleidoscope
In this learning space, children delve into the beauty and mystery of light and reflection. Colorful Refraction Windows are central to the room, creating a magical backdrop for activities from storytelling and group work to exploring the physical properties of light and color.

5 – 6 Year Old Class: The Waves
Whether sound waves, light waves, or ocean waves, children are given the opportunity to study “waves” through various scientific and artistic forms. A symbolic “wave” architectural system supports this learning space, allowing teachers and children to easily engage in interdisciplinary learning projects during their exploration.

Arts Atelier
As the hub of all spaces and projects at school, the Arts Atelier is a highlight of the Reggio Emilia® Approach, where the “100 languages” of expression in children are celebrated. From a young age, children engage in multiple forms of art, building skills and confidence to express themselves through various mediums like painting, ceramics, photography, construction, and installation.

Em’s Gallery
This special space preserves the learning footprints, pedagogical documentation, artworks, and publications from generations of students who have graduated from Little Em’s. Em’s Gallery serves as a Traditional House, a shared space for parents, teachers, students, and visitors to observe, learn, or reminisce about projects and the growth journeys of past students with pride.

Library Story Lab
The Library Story Lab is a shared space for the entire school. At Little Em’s, reading is seen as an essential skill that young children need to develop from an early age. In this space, children immerse themselves in a universe of over 1,000 different books in both Vietnamese and English. They are encouraged to satisfy their curiosity, explore, and learn to create together through storytelling sessions.

La Piazza
This essential gathering space for children, parents, teachers, and the entire school community is where meetings and discussions about developmental journeys and seasonal changes take place. La Piazza is also a dynamic, flexible space that can transform into a stage for children to express their “100 languages.”

Family Salon
Building an authentic Reggio Emilia® school focuses on fostering and maintaining strong connections among teachers, staff, students, and parents. At the Family Salon, we exchange ideas and share thoughts in an open and caring environment, with children at the heart of every conversation.
